| ADULT MINISTRIES
From the very birth
of Christianity believers have eagerly devoted themselves to
the teaching of the apostles, to the Fellowship, to meals and
Communion together, and to corporate prayer. Here at Christian
Life Center we desire to continue in their example. To that
end we offer a variety of opportunities for learning the
Scriptures and to applying them in everyday life situations.
Options range from large gatherings (Sunday morning
services) to small
classes and home studies. We encourage fellowship in all of
our gatherings, and find home groups to be an excellent
facilitator for fellowship and developing friendships. Prayer
times are frequent and in various locations and settings.
Small groups minister to a wide range of needs. Some feature
in-depth Bible study and prayer, or concentrate on specific
issues such as freedom from life controlling habits and divorce
recovery. Yet others are more fellowship-oriented; some are
groups drawn together over common interests (including Griz
football and scrapbooking, for example). If you are interested
in ministering to the physical / material needs of others,
there are small groups that help feed the hungry and clothe
the poor. A list of existing groups is available below.
Pastoral counseling is also
available to assist adults through the struggles of life.
Small Groups: a small group of
adults, typically 5 - 15 people meeting weekly or bi-weekly in a
